چکیده
With the growing need for water demand management, several nudge-based interventions have been undertaken from March to September 2019 guide humans toward socially desirable behavior of conserving resources and reducing negative environmental impacts in Tokyo Metropolitan area, Japan. In this study, we provided two types visualized feedback participating households by applying social norms their consumption: one that conceptualized as a public good, compared household’s usage others using bar chart eight months. We analyzed change consumption each household generalized linear mixed model (GLMM) found nudge good was effective saving low-consuming households, whereas had no impact. addition, asked participants whether information caused any kind stress after last feedback. An analysis variance (ANOVA) indicated method utilized study not only does cause among recipients, but also improved interest residential consumption. Households received were less satisfied than control group because they feel able save water.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
A Stochastic Model for Water Resources Management
Irrigation water management is crucial for agricultural production and livelihood security in many regions and countries throughout the world. Over the past decades, controversial and conflictladen water-allocation issues among competing municipal, industrial and agricultural interests have raised increasing concerns. Particularly, growing population, varying natural conditions and shrinking wa...

ABSTRACT- Efficient use of irrigation water for summer crops should be considered seriously due to rare occurrence of precipitation in summer. This research was focused on the assessment of water use efficiency for dominant crops of summer cropping pattern in the study area (i.e., maize and rice) via considering water productivity (WP) with different water management scenarios at farm level at ...

Random field survey was conducted to specify the in-house potable water distribution systems used in Riyadh city. A questionnaire was designed for this purpose with three different groups of questions. The first group deals with the system properties and number of outlets, the second group covers the behavior of residents with the system and the last group has general questions about the house ...
متن کاملA Water Demand Forecasting Model using BPNN for Residential Building
This paper presents a residential water demand forecasting model using a back propagation neural network (BPNN) in the context of residential buildings in Korea. The water demand of a building demonstrates a highly complex and non-linear phenomenon reflecting such features as geographic and climatic and special types of buildings. We describe the impact of several potential determinant factors ...
